The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has signaled a high level of readiness for mobilization in the country, stating that millions of citizens are prepared to engage in the defense of the territory in the event of a military escalation.

In a reaction published on the platform X, he suggested that support for such mobilization is widespread, while emphasizing that he himself would be part of this sacrifice if required.

The statements come at a time when rhetoric between Tehran and its adversaries has significantly intensified. According to reports from state media, Iranian institutions have begun to intensify public messaging aimed at involving citizens in defense structures.

In this context, official sources have indicated that retired military personnel have also been encouraged to return to service, reflecting a broader effort to increase human capacity in case of crisis.

Iran, with a population approaching 90 million, has the potential for significant mobilization if the situation worsens. However, it remains unclear how concrete these figures are and in what form such mobilization would materialize.
