Zendaya has suggested that the third season of Euphoria could be its last, raising expectations that one of the most followed dramas of recent years may be approaching its end.
Speaking during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress discussed the future of the project and indicated that the story may be heading toward a natural conclusion.
When asked whether the new season would serve as a farewell, Zendaya replied briefly: “I think so,” suggesting that the creators may be preparing to wrap up the narrative.
According to her, the upcoming episodes are expected to focus on the consequences of the characters’ decisions, bringing their complex arcs toward resolution after several seasons of intense developments.
The new season follows a turbulent chapter in which relationships deteriorated and tensions escalated. One of the most talked-about storylines was the breakdown of the friendship between Cassie Howard and Maddy Perez, driven by Cassie’s relationship with Nate Jacobs.
At the center of the series remains Rue, portrayed by Zendaya, who continues her struggle with addiction, a key element that gives the show its strong emotional weight.
“Euphoria” has also served as a launching platform for several rising actors, including Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Colman Domingo, reinforcing its influence on contemporary television.
Since its debut, the series has had a significant cultural impact, particularly among younger audiences, sparking conversations around identity, relationships and mental health.
Although there has been no official confirmation about the show’s conclusion, Zendaya’s comments have fuelled speculation that season three could deliver a strong and emotional ending.
