U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled a new digital platform dubbed “OnlyFarms”, aiming to support American farmers while staging a highly visual White House event that quickly spread across social media.

The announcement was made during a gathering at the White House, where roughly 800 farmers and ranchers attended, many dressed in traditional cowboy hats, reinforcing the administration’s outreach to rural America.

Several tractors were displayed on the White House grounds, but a gold-colored tractor became the focal point of the event. Trump referenced it jokingly during his remarks, drawing laughter from the crowd and underscoring the staged nature of the presentation.

The “OnlyFarms” platform is designed to establish a direct communication channel between the government and agricultural producers. Officials say it will also highlight support measures, including tax relief and financial assistance, following the recently announced $12 billion aid package for the sector.

The initiative comes as U.S. farmers face mounting economic pressure, driven by rising fuel costs, expensive fertilizers and ongoing uncertainty in global trade markets. These challenges have increasingly shaped domestic political messaging around agriculture.

The platform’s name — widely seen as a play on OnlyFans — quickly went viral, triggering a wave of satire and online commentary. Despite the humor, the move reflects a broader political effort to consolidate support among rural voters ahead of a potentially competitive electoral cycle.
